Pangea Projects International Pangea is an independent power project developers in the Asia Pacific medium-scale power industry. It offers custom power generation solutions, including renewable energy from biomass as well as conventional power generation from gas, coal and oil.
Peninsula Minerals Ltd. Peninsula has acquiring Tasman Pacific Minerals Limited, whose prime assets comprise six Prospecting Right applications covering approximately 2,000 square kilometres in the Karoo region of South Africa. Red Metal Ltd. Recognition of the potential for Sedimentary Hosted uranium deposit types in new target settings has lead to an expanded uranium focus in South Australia and interest from major uranium producers. Red Metal has lodged several exploration licence applications on the Lakes Project and Algebuckina Project, based on a new concept.
Red Rock Resources PLC Red Rock recently acquired additional uranium and iron ore tenements, with manganese, gold, and magnesite mineralization, in the Northern Territory, and has purchased two mineral properties prospective for uranium, located in the East African country of Malawi. The company said it intends to transfer all its uranium assets to Zeus.
Canada
Pancontinental Uranium Corporation Pancontinental is in a joint venture with Crossland Uranium Mines Ltd. Australian projects include Chilling and Charley Creek in the Northern Territory, and Kalabity in South Australia.
Pathfinder Resources Ltd. Pathfinder Resources Ltd. is a mineral exploration company whose shares are traded on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol PHR. The Company's objective is to create shareholder wealth through the identification, acquisition and exploration of mineral projects which display potential for large economic deposits.
Pele Mountain Resources Inc. Pele Mountain Resources is an exploration play on the abundant mineral wealth of northern Ontario. Pele has acquired and developed a diverse portfolio including 122 claims in the Elliot Lake Uranium Project.

Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station is a Canadian nuclear power station located 2 km northeast of Point Lepreau, New Brunswick. The facility was constructed between 1975-1983 by NB Power, the provincially-owned public utility. The Point Lepreau station is the only nuclear facility located in Atlantic Canada and comprises one CANDU nuclear reactor located on the northern shore of the Bay of Fundy, having a net capacity of 635 MW.
Prospect Uranium, Inc. In February, 2006, Tonogold Resources, Inc. [TNGL] changed the name of its uranium subsidiary, Mesa Uranium, Inc. to Prospect Uranium, Inc.
Purepoint Uranium Group Inc. Purepoint is a uranium exploration company driven by intellectual, precision prospecting focusing on distinct, targeted properties with historic significance in the Canadian Athabasca Basin. Their seven Athabasca Basin uranium projects, covering 120,000 hectares, are high prospect properties that include several near term targets expected to be drill ready for winter 2005/06.
Quaterra Resources Inc. Quaterra has recently acquired the uranium prospects in Arizona and will be doing some preliminary surface work prior to establishing a drill program. Quaterra reports that, to date, the company has acquired 95 claims covering 36 targets situated in northern Arizona.
RadWaste.org (WasteLink) The primary purpose of WasteLink site is to provide a reference source for radioactive waste management professionals. Their attempt at non-biased coverage has earned them the respect of people and institutions on all sides of the issue, pro, anti, academic, governments, and professional societies to name a few.
Ring of Fire Resources Inc. The company has both direct or option interests in one Uranium project in Grand Calumet Twp., Quebec; one gold and one VMS exploration properties in Ontario plus a core holding of 3.5 million shares in Wits Basin Precious Minerals Inc.
RSB Logistic North America RSB Logistic Inc. is the North American subsidiary of RSB Logistic Projektspedition GmbH, (previously RSB Logistic GmbH) located in Koln, Germany. It is a transportation company, specializing in nuclear transport.
Running Fox Resource Corp. Running Fox is a Canadian small-cap resource sector company active in resource exploration and production. It is producing and drilling for oil and natural gas, it owns 100% of Claymore Field Services, operating a full service oilfield service company for natural gas plants, stations, tie-ins etc. It also owns 50% of a high-grade gold project in British Columbia, extensive mineral claims in Labrador prospective for uranium and is actively reviewing several advanced uranium projects. Posiva Oy Site in Finnish only. [Some English] Posiva Oy is an expert organisation responsible for the final disposal of spent nuclear fuel in Finland. Posiva was established in 1995.
Germany
RWE Site in German only. [Some English] RWE is the parent company of RWE Power.
RWE Power Site in German only. [Some English] A subsidiary of RWE, RWE Power is a legally independent company created by the merger of RWE and VEW. RWE Power operates the Bibllis, Emsland, and Gundremmingen nuclear power plants.
Hungary
Paks Nuclear Power Plant Ltd. Site in Hungarian only. [Some English] The Paks Nuclear Power Plant Company was founded in 1976 and has been operating as a share company since 1992. Its site, where four VVER-440/213 type units are operating with a total nominal power of 1860 MW (electrical), is located in the middle of Hungary, five kilometers from the town of Paks. More than 40% of the electrical energy generated in Hungary is produced here.
Italy
Polytechnic of Milan (POLIMI) [English] POLIMI is an Italian, scientific-technological university which trains engineers, architects and industrial desingners. It has premises in Milano, Como, Cremona, Lecco, Mantova, and Piacenza. POLIMI gives its contribution to the nuclear community through its studies which pertain also Small Modular Reactors (SMRs).
Japan
Radioactive Waste Management Funding and Research Center (RWMC) [English] As the only one Japanese organization specialized in radioactive waste, RWMC has been conducting the two major roles; R & D and the fund administration for radioactive waste management.
Korea, South
POSCO [English] Founded in 1968, POSCO became the world's leading steel company in 1998 based on crude steel production. Privatized in 2000, the company started its internationalization.
Namibia
Rössing Uranium Mine Rössing is situated 65km East of the Namibian town of Swakopmund, where uranium oxide is extracted from the world's largest open cast uranium mine, for the generation of electricity across the globe. Rössing is part of the Rio Tinto Group of companies.
Pakistan
Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) PAEC is charged with the promotion of, and research work on the peaceful uses of atomic energy in the fields of agriculture, medicine and industry, as well as the execution of development projects involving nuclear power stations and the generation of electric power, and to perform such other functions relating to the peaceful uses of atomic energy as may be agreed to between the Commission and the government.

Research Institute of Atomic Reactors (SSC RF) [English] Located in the Ulyanovsk region of Russia, the enterprise was created in the late 1950s for engineering and scientific investigations on various problems of atomic energy.

Rosenergoatom Concern [English] Rosenergoatom Concern is an operating organization of existing NPPs, NPPs under construction, and NPPs led out of operation.
Rostov Nuclear Power Plant Site in Russian only. [Some English] Rostov Nuclear Power Plant is a Russian nuclear power plant. Unit 1 begin operation in 2001 and Unit 2 in 2009. In 2009 work on Unit 3 was restarted and work on Unit 4 is being scheduled as well. Units 1 and 2 are VVER-1000/320s, and Units 3 and 4 will be an upgraded VVER-1000/320 subtype.
Russian Research Centre "Kurchatov Institute" Site in Russian only. [Some English] The Kurchatov Institute has several Institutes dealing with nuclear fields including reactors, nuclear safety, and nuclear fusion.
South Africa
Pebble Bed Modular Reactor (Pty) Limited (PBMR) Based in Centurion near Pretoria, South Africa, PBMR was established in 1999 with the intention to develop and market small-scale, high-temperature reactors both locally and internationally.
Switzerland
Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) The Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) is the largest research centre for natural and engineering sciences within Switzerland, with its research activities concentrated on three main subject areas: Structure of Matter, Energy and the Environment, and Health. The PSI develops, constructs and operates complex large-scale research facilities.
United Kingdom
Rio Tinto Uranium Rio Tinto is a world leader in finding, mining and processing the earth's mineral resources. Rio Tinto has interests in two uranium mines: Energy Resources of Australia Ltd (ERA) in Australia (68 per cent interest) and Rössing in Namibia (69 per cent interest).
United States
Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) PG&E is a wholly owned subsidiary of PG&E Corporation and maintains its headquarters in San Francisco, California. PG&E owns and operates the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant.
Palisades Nuclear Generating Station The Palisades Power Plant is a nuclear power plant located on Lake Michigan, in Van Buren County's Covert Township, Michigan. Palisades is owned and operated by Entergy. It was operated by the Nuclear Management Company and owned by CMS Energy Corporation prior to the sale completed in 2007. The plant consists of a single Westinghouse PWR reactor with a capacity of 798 MWe. The plant began operation in 1971, and its license is scheduled to expire in 2031.
PECO Energy PECO, an energy delivery subsidiary of Exelon Corporation, is headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. PECO is the largest electric and natural gas utility in Pennsylvania, serving approximately 1.6 million electric customers and 490,000 natural gas customers in southeastern Pennsylvania.
Platts Platts is a division of the McGraw-Hill Companies and is the publisher of the NuclearFuel, Nucleonics Week, and Inside NRC newsletters.
Point Beach Nuclear Plant Point Beach Nuclear Plant is a nuclear power plant located on Lake Michigan north of Two Rivers, Wisconsin. The plant is currently owned and operated by NextEra Energy Resources (prior to 2009, FPL Energy). The plant was built by Wisconsin Electric Power Company (now We Energies, a subsidiary of Wisconsin Energy Corporation), and previously operated by the Nuclear Management Company.
Powertech Uranium Corp. The company is targeting North America and focusing on projects amenable to In-Situ-Leach (ISL) mining methods. The company presently holds the Dewey Burdock uranium deposit in South Dakota and the Centennial project in Colorado, two advanced stage projects with historical uranium resources totaling more than 17 million pounds of U3O8. The company also holds two exploration projects in Wyoming known as Dewey Terrace and Aladdin.
PPL Corporation PPL, formerly known as PP&L or Pennsylvania Power and Light, is an energy company headquartered in Allentown, Pennsylvania. It currently controls about 19,000 megawatts (MW) of electrical generating capacity in the United States.
Prairie Island Nuclear Plant The Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant is an electricity-generating facility located in Red Wing, Minnesota. The nuclear power plant, which first began operating in 1973, has two Westinghouse PWR reactors that produce a total 1,076 megawatts of power. They are licensed to operate through 2033 and 2034.
Private Fuel Storage, LLC (PFS) PFS is a group of eight electric utility companies that have partnered with the Skull Valley Band of Goshute Indians to build and operate a safe, clean, temporary facility to store spent nuclear fuel rods from commercial power plants on the Indian Tribe's reservation in Skull Valley, Utah.
Professional Reactor Operator Society (PROS) [English] The Professional Reactor Operator Society exists to serve individuals involved with safe nuclear reactor operations. The society will work to communicate and promote the knowledge and professional values of our members, and to offer constructive input to the regulatory process on issues related to Operators.
Progress Energy Progress Energy, headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, is a Fortune 500 energy company with more than 21,000 megawatts of generation capacity and $9 billion in annual revenues. Progress Energy is the majority owner and operator of the Brunswick, Crystal River 3, Robinson, and Shearon Harris nuclear power plants.
PSEG Nuclear PSEG Nuclear is one of three main subsidiaries of PSEG Power LLC. PSEG Nuclear operates the Salem and Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Stations in Lower Alloways Creek, New Jersey, and is a part owner of the Peach Bottom Nuclear generation station in Delta, Pennsylvania.
Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) Public Service Company of New Mexico is a corporation that is wholly owned by PNM Resources. In marketing material it is usually called PNM. PNM serves about 498,700 electricity customers statewide and also sells electricity on the wholesale market. The company, New Mexico's largest electricity provider, is based in Albuquerque.

RADIX Power and Energy Corporation (RADIX) RADIX is a U.S. company which is developing a miniature modular reactor (MMR) called RADIX Power System.
Rio Grande Resources Corp. Rio Grande Resources Corporation controls uranium operations and mineral resources acquired by GA from Chevron Resources in 1991. Included in this acquisition were mines in south Texas and New Mexico. Rio Grande Resources has been involved in reclaiming numerous properties in the South Texas uranium district, developing an extensive background in groundwater restoration, surface rehabilitation, and tailings disposal and monitoring.
