Urenco Deutschland GmbH The Urenco Group provides a high quality, cost effective, and reliable uranium enrichment service to nuclear power utilities worldwide. Urenco's plants employ the gas-centrifuge process. The process is clean, safe, and energy efficient. Urenco Deutschland (UD), located in Gronau, is the site of Urenco’s uranium enrichment plant in Germany. It is located close to the Dutch/German border in North-Rhine-Westphalia, some 40 kilometers from Urenco's Dutch enrichment plant. Here uranium is enriched in centrifuge cascades to the U235 assays required by nuclear power plants.
India

Tokai-II Power Station [English] In June 1973, construction began on the Tokai-II Power Station, Japan's first large-scale nuclear power plant. The facility entered commercial operation in November 1978. The station terminated its commercial operation on March 31, 1998 and is currently being decommissioned. The unit was a 1,100 MWe BWR.
Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) [English] The Tokyo Electric Power Company, Incorporated (TEPCO) is an electric utility servicing Japan's Kanto region, Yamanashi Prefecture, and the eastern portion of Shizuoka Prefecture. This area includes Tokyo. I ts headquarters are located in Uchisaiwaicho, Chiyoda, Tokyo, and international branch offices exist in Washington, D.C., and London. TEPCO operates the Fukushima Daiichi (Units 1-6), Fuhushima Daini (Units 1-4) and Kashiwazaki Kariwa (Units 1-7) nuclear power plants.
Tokyo Institute of Technology [English] Tokyo Institute of Technology was founded by the Japanese Government, Department of Education, as the Tokyo Vocational School in 1881 and today is one of Japan’s top universities
Toshiba - 4S [English] Toshiba Corporation, which is today also the owner of Westinghouse, is one of the largest Japanese heavy equipment and electronics manufacturers with many successful product lines and businesses. In the nuclear field, Toshiba (under the management of the Power Systems Company) is a designer, supplier, and architectural engineer of NPP projects. The Super-Safe, Small & Simple – 4S “nuclear battery” system is being developed by Toshiba and CRIEPI in Japan in collaboration with the STAR work and Westinghouse in the U.S.
Tsuruga Power Station Unit 1 Site in Japanese only. [Some English] The first unit of the Tsuruga Power Station went under construction in April 1966 as Japan's prototype LWR nuclear power station for commercial use. Completed in a record time of 48 months, the plant entered commercial service in March 1970. The unit is a 357 MWe BWR.
Tsuruga Power Station Unit 2 Site in Japanese only. [Some English] Construction on Unit 2 of the Tsuruga Power Station began in April 1982, and the facility entered commercial service in February 1987, about four months ahead of schedule. The unit is a 1,160 MWe BWR.
Kazakhstan
Ulba Metallurgical Plant Site in Russian only. [Some English] This company is the largest facility in CIS for fabrication of nuclear fuel for power plants. It also produces hydrofluroic acid, other materials, and is approved for the production of products from uranium compounds including reprocessed uranium for nuclear reactors and power plants and processing of different uranium compounds to produce products of different degree of readiness.
Korea, South
South Korea Ministry of Knowledge and Economy (MKE) [English] South Korean MKE integrates former Ministries of Commerce, Industry and Energy; Information and Communication; and Science and Technology. MKE has considerable jurisdiction in creating a more business-friendly environment. The Ministry also pushes for development of new growth engines by supporting Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) and high-end manufacturing. It also promotes foreign trade, pursues Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), and champions efficient markets. Furthermore, the Ministry is mandated to engage in energy cooperation projects, expand renewable resources and distribution networks, and craft environmentally-friendly economic policies. These initiatives work to fulfill the Ministry’s additional responsibility of providing for Korea’s day-to-day energy requirements.
Netherlands
Urenco Nederland The Urenco Group provides a high quality, cost effective, and reliable uranium enrichment service to nuclear power utilities worldwide. Urenco's plants employ the gas-centrifuge process. The process is clean, safe, and energy efficient. Urenco’s site in the Netherlands is located in Almelo, a town in the East of the country. As with all URENCO’s sites the operational process utilizes state-of-the art technology, based on the centrifuge method: the most clean and energy-efficient way to enrich uranium. ISO 27001:2005 certification for Information Security was achieved at Almelo.

TVEL Corporation [English] Russian nuclear fuel producer. Steenkampskraal Thorium Limited (STL) Steenkampskraal Thorium Limited is a South African registered company engaged in a variety of activities aimed at developing the thorium value chain from the point at which the thorium is mined to the closure of a thorium fuel cycle.
