Ukraine
VostGOK Site in Russian only. [Some English] The state owned "Eastern Mining And Processing Complex" (SkhidGZK) was established in 1951. The first ore was won at "Nova" mine in 1956, and the first kilogram of uranium concentrate was produced in 1959. The Eastern Mining and Processing Complex is the only enterprise in Ukraine engaged in the mining of uranium ore and the production of a uranium oxide concentrate.
United Kingdom
VANE Minerals Group VANE Minerals is a self-funding exploration company with a substantial portfolio of uranium assets at varying stages of development in the US. Yankee Nuclear Power Station The Yankee Nuclear Power Station – also known as "Yankee Rowe" – was the third nuclear power plant built in the United States and the first built in New England. Yggdrasil Institute: Uranium Enrichment Project The Uranium Enrichment Project of Yggdrasil Institute monitored the U.S. uranium enrichment establishment from December 1999 through February 2002.
