European Union
ExternE – Externalities of Energy The ExternE project, a research project of the European Commission, is the first comprehensive attempt to use a consistent "bottom-up" methodology to evaluate the external costs associated with a range of different fuel cycles, including nuclear power. Fuel cycle externalities are the costs imposed on society and the environment that are not accounted for by the producers and consumers of energy, i.e., that are not included in the market price.

Budapest University – Institute of Nuclear Techniques [English] The Institute of Nuclear Techniques (INT) of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BUTE) is part of the Faculty of Natural Sciences. The Institute constitutes of two units: the Department of Nuclear Techniques organizes the educational tasks of the Institute, whereas the Training Reactor Laboratory operates the Nuclear Training Reactor. However, every member of the academic staff of the Institute has his/her own tasks as well in the education and training as in the reactor operation.

Malaysian Nuclear Society (MNS) Malaysian Nuclear Society (MNS), established in 1988, is a non-governmental organization committed to promote the peaceful use of nuclear science and technology. Kurchatov Institute Site in Russian only. [Some English] The Kurchatov Institute was founded in Moscow in 1943 and was initially involved in the development of nuclear weapon. It was known under the name of "Laboratory ? 2 of the USSR Academy of Sciences." Since 1960 it was named Kurchatov Institute of Atomic Energy. The Institute got the status of the Russian Research Centre in 1991 and in 2010 it became the National Research Centre (NRC "Kurchatov Institute").
OJSC NIKIET (NIKIET) Site in Russian only. Formerly known as N.A. Dollezhal Research and Development Institute of Power Engineering (founded in 1952), the company changed its name to OJSC NIKIET in 2009 and is currently a subsidiary of JSC Atomenergoprom. OJSC NIKIET provides research and development services for nuclear engineering and technology in Russia.
Research Institute of Atomic Reactors (SSC RF) [English] Located in the Ulyanovsk region of Russia, the enterprise was created in the late 1950s for engineering and scientific investigations on various problems of atomic energy.

Nuclear Industry Association (UK) (NIA) The Nuclear Industry Association (NIA) is the trade as sociation and representative voice of Britain's civil nuclear industry. It represents more than 250 companies including the operators and vendors of nuclear power stations, those engaged in decommissioning, waste management, nuclear liabilities management and all aspects of the nuclear fuel cycle, nuclear equipment suppliers, engineering and construction firms, nuclear research organizations, and legal, financial and consultancy companies. The Nuclear Industry Association supports a balanced low-carbon energy future for the UK including renewables, clean coal and gas – with nuclear at its low-carbon center.
The Nuclear Institute (UK) The Nuclear Institute is a charity and is formed of a professional institute and a learned society. This enables it to deal with a diverse range of external stakeholders, governmental, industrial, environmental and ecological to mention just a few. The Institute is also able to offer a range of memberships at both a professorial level, for those seeking registration with the Engineering Council for example, to the layperson with an interest in nuclear matters. The Nuclear Institute was created in 2009 from the merger of the British Nuclear Energy Society and the Institution of Nuclear engineers.
UK’s National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) NNL is a nuclear technology services provider. In particular, it provides independent and authoritative advices to the UK Government pertaining nuclear power technologies and policies.
Young Generation Network (YGN) The Young Generation Network (YGN) is a group created by the Nuclear Institute (NI) to offer the younger members of the NI the opportunity to further their knowledge and facilitate networking between generations. It assists career progression and provides a resource for the future of the industry. The YGN has been in existence for 14 years and currently consists of over 1500 members, for whom it promotes communication and activity with the many successful young generation networks worldwide.

Argonne National Laboratory D&D Decontamination & Decommissioning (D&D) is a major program within the Technology Development (TD) Division of Argonne National Laboratory. Its mission is to develop technologies, operational procedures, and safety approaches for use in safe and economical decontamination and decommissioning of nuclear facilities; to deploy and demonstrate these at research reactors at Argonne; and to transfer these and lessons learned to nuclear facilities outside Argonne (utilities, research reactors, both national and international).
Foundation for Nuclear Studies Nuclear technologies are used in a host of applications ranging from energy production, to medical treatment and diagnosis, to food processing. The Foundation for Nuclear Studies provides a forum for the discussion of these technologies and more with the objective of helping policymakers to make informed decisions regarding nuclear technology issues.
