Philip Johnson joined UxC in 2008 and currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Fuel Cycle. Early in his career at UxC, Philip focused largely on uranium supply-related developments affecting the junior/near-term uranium production space. While maintaining a focus on the supply side of the industry today, Mr. Johnson's responsibilities have broadened to encompass the entire nuclear fuel cycle and various other demand-related industry segments, ranging from nuclear power developments to SMR/ARs, among others. Mr. Johnson is a key contributor to many UxC publications, with a distinct focus on the Ux Weekly,
Uranium Market Outlook, Uranium Indicators, Uranium Supplier's Annual, Uranium Production Cost Study, Small, Advanced, and Micro-Reactor Assessments, Policy Watch, and more. In addition to contributing to many of UxC's publications, consulting solutions, and reporting services, Mr. Johnson edits UxC's range of publications.
Philip holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Georgia State University's Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, with specialist distinctions in Urban Economic Development and Experimental Economic Theory. Furthermore, Mr. Johnson has a minor in English, with distinctions in both Technical and Business Writing.
During his tenure at UxC, Philip has spoken at various industry meetings and investor conferences. Mr. Johnson has also provided expert analysis and commentary to a range of leading international publications, including: The Wall Street Journal, TED Mag, the Investing News Network, ETF Trends' Thematic Investing Channel, and others. Most recently, Mr. Johnson was a featured guest on the Energy Impact Center's highly acclaimed Titans of Nuclear Podcast.
